J. Ben Barton

LEAD PASTOR

Ben grew up in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He attended Walton High School. After graduating in 1991, Ben pursued a career in the stucco industry, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience over 17 years. In 1998, Ben married his wife, Jenny, affectionately known as JJ, and their union has been a cornerstone of love and support in Ben's life. Their shared journey has been marked by mutual dedication and a deep commitment to their family and faith. Their family became members of WEO Church (now LCCI) in 2000. Ben's ordination under World Evangelism Outreach in 2006, under the mentorship of Apostle RW White, further solidified his spiritual foundation and provided him with the necessary guidance to embark on his pastoral path. In 2008, Ben's life took a significant turn when he transitioned into a new role as the Pastor of Life Changers Church. This shift represented a pivotal moment in his spiritual journey, allowing him to fulfill his calling and serve his community in a profound and meaningful way. God released him in 2018 to once again enter the secular workforce to further Kingdom expansion financially and mentor others while maintaining his position as Lead Pastor of LCCI.

Family holds a special place in Ben's heart, and his role as a father to his daughter, Josie, and a godfather to Rilee, has been a source of immense joy and pride. Both Josie and Rilee have grown into independent, driven individuals, pursuing their careers and higher education, and contributing positively to their respective communities.

Ben's ministry is characterized by a deep passion for the Word of God and a genuine desire to facilitate spiritual growth and understanding of Kingdom principles among his congregation. Together with his wife, Jenny, he endeavors to deliver the Rhema word and interpret the written word in a relatable and practical manner, drawing from their personal encounters and experiences. Their ministry style is marked by authenticity, integrity, humility, and a down-to-earth approach that resonates with people from all walks of life, fostering a sense of understanding and great leadership within their community.
